1.What Is an SL Series Speed Controller?
A speed controller, also called a flow control valve, regulates how fast compressed air enters or leaves a cylinder. That sets the speed of the cylinder stroke. The SL series packs the valve into a small body, so it fits tight spaces on machines and retrofit lines.
The valve is built around a brass needle. Turning the knob moves the needle in small steps, which gives fine control from low to high flow. Once set, the position holds under vibration.
